Garden Personality
Every year, during the Beervelde Garden Days in May, a professional jury chooses the Garden Personality. This award is given to someone who has made great efforts to stimulate horticulture in Belgium. The Garden Personality is an initiative of Scotts-Naturen, Hobbytuin magazine and the Beervelde Garden Days. This award is consideed a tribute from gardenlovers to gardenlovers.
The jury consists of Ivo Pauwels (president of the jury), Jinge Lim (Gardens of Eden),Harry van Trier (botanicus), Jan Oprins (bamboo breeder and the new big man for the Floraliën), Marie-Noëlle Cruysmans (journalist) and Marie-Pascale Sikking (journalist).

The jury decided to award Philippe Taminiaux as Garden Personality 2011.

Date and hour:
11th, 12th and 13th of May 2012 from 10 am - 6 pm.
Entrance:
10 Euro per person (free of charge for children under the age of 15)
8 Euro per person for groups of minimum 25 people.
Dogs on a leash are admitted.
Lunch:
Restaurants and self-service available.

2 km from exit 11 of the E17 motorway between Ghent and Antwerp.
